Bishop Rock is most commonly known for its lighthouse. It is situated in the westernmost part of the Isles of Scilly of Great Britain. It has a record in the Guinness Book as the smallest island in the world. The first lighthouse was made up of iron and washed away due to the storm. The present building was completed in 1858.
