Banff- The Sunny Side Of Life

Located in the majestic Alberta Rockies along the Trans Canada highway, is the town of Banff. Situated within Banff National Park in Alberta, the town is approximately126 km (78mi) west of Calgary and 58 km (36mi) east of Lake Louise. The town is at an elevation of 1400 TO 1630 m ( 4590 to 5350 ft) above sea level. Banff is a community with the second highest elevation in Alberta after Lake Louise.



The town of Banif was the first municipality to be incorporated within the Canadian National park. The town is also a member of the Calgary Regional Partnership.

One of Canada’s most popular tourist destinations, Banff is a beautiful resort town. Surrounded by mountains and hot springs, it is a destination known for outdoor sports and features extensive hiking, biking, scrambling, and asking. With three nearby ski villages Sunshine Village, Ski Norquay, and Lake Lousie ski resorts in its vicinity, Baniff is a perfect tourist destination for ski lovers.
